About the Job
Functional Role:
The basic function of the Lead Restoration Technician of DAI, LLC is to oversee every aspect of the job,
from handling all demo and clean up, while providing an outstanding customer experience and finalizing the
project before it goes into the billing stage. All Lead Technicians are expected to mentor and exceed
expectations on the job site while leading by example and showing the crews the correct and safe way to
mitigate a loss.
Requirements:
Education and Licenses
Required: High school or equivalent.
IICRC Certifications with continuing education is preferred
Experience:
A minimum of two years of management experience in the disaster restoration areas.
Skill, Knowledge and Abilities:
Language ability includes reading, writing, spelling, and the ability to communicate clearly on technical
and business topics in English. Spanish helpful secondary language. Must be able to understand and interpret
instructions from estimate / proposals and other written company / client instruction.
Have good work ethic, be responsible and trustworthy.
Be able to adapt to and work with changing job schedules
(on-call, after hours and weekends as needed)
Be able to work with varied personalities of crew members and clients.
Capable of uploading required job photos
Have a professional appearance and attitude.
Be IICRC certified in Fire, Water, and Mold Mitigation and Carpet Cleaning
Job Description:
Have a valid driver license with a reasonable driving history
Obtain a current DOT card to drive all trucks
Understand how to complete all mitigation folders, and all paperwork assigned in folder
Understand the correct equipment for the right project and understand Moisture reading equipment.
Physical:
Body Positions: Standing, sitting, walking
Body Movements: Use of hands, arms, legs and lifting up to 75 pounds.
Have a valid driver's license
Have active DOT card
Be capable of lifting and moving equipment over 50 pounds and perform demo work
Be able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays as needed and travel out of state
when necessary
Mental:
Analytical and observational skills that demonstrate an ability to organize, direct, budget, control and
manage daily operations. Requires analytical knowledge and abilities using basic business math skills.
Working Conditions:
Office, job site and shop environment.
Payrate: $22.00-$29.00 per hr depending on experience
