About the Job
Ziegler CAT has an opening for a D365 Manager who will have ownership and accountability for continually improving and enhancing the Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) portfolio and utilization. This role will manage a team of internal and external resources to deliver continuous improvements, system and applications upgrades, and feature enablement. This role will identify, develop, recommend, implement, and support D365. The D365 Manager will partner with leadership in operations and information technology to develop and maintain solution and support governance structures, allowing our work to be transparently prioritized and capabilities delivered sustainably.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop the D365 team
- Accountable for the continuous improvement of D365
- Work with the business to understand and prioritize new capabilities, create process improvements and efficiencies, and drive business process standardization
- Facilitate the Wave Enhancement Planning Process and ensure all D365 projects and project portfolios are defined, tracked, and communicated in a consistent manner
- Accountable for the execution of wave plans
- Responsible for D365 Solution Architecture
- Oversee the daily support of operations provided by D365 team
- Understand, provide input, and influence vendor roadmaps
- Provide coordinated approach to business process change, technical system and integration changes to ensure data integrity
- Understand how the components of D365 fit together and how changes impact the entire system and organization
- Ensure changes driven by the D365 time are done so in a documented and planned manner while considering the change management impact
- Learn and become D365 security, licensing, and number sequence expert
- Ensure effective release management practices are followed within compliance
- Contribute to the development of a D365 dealer user community
- Provide input on strategic projects which impact D365 or are enabled by D365
- Provide continued education to the D365 team through classes/conferences, digital training, Dynamics Communities etc.
- Lead cross functional project groups and work collaboratively with Project managers, PMO, Business Analysts, and Developers
- Work closely with XAPT to escalate tickets, bring up questions, and prioritize roadmap items
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years’ experience working with D365 including experience with implementation, and working in a cloud-based environment
- 1-3 years leadership experience
- Experience taking business requirements and converting to a process with a cross functional perspective
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Visio, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of business process mapping
- Ability to develop partnerships, compromise, and look for common ground
- Strong Communication skills required. Ability to put complex technical scenarios into understandable terms
