Cytotechnologist Compensation

• The pay for this position is $66.00 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Cytotechnologist Highlights

• Hours: 8 hours/day (M-F)
• Shift Time: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• No Call or Weekend Requirements

Cytotechnologist Responsibilities

Cytotechnologists perform specialized technical tasks in processing and screening cytological specimens to detect cancer or other pathological conditions. Key responsibilities include:

• Screening slides (gynecologic and non-gynecologic) for abnormalities and rendering diagnoses.
• Conducting quality control and assurance procedures.
• Performing rapid on-site evaluations (ROSE) using tele-pathology systems.

Cytotechnologist Requirements

• Cytotech experience (required; new grads considered).
• ASCP certification (required).
• Experience with EBUS procedures (required).
• Experience with ION procedures (preferred).
• Work history and skills checklist (current within 1 year).
• 2 supervisory references with employment dates
