About the Job
Overview of the Role:

Responsible for screening gynecologic cytology slides as needed, up to a predetermined limit

Responsible for issuing reports for slides that are negative for intraepithelial lesions and for organisms on the screened slides

Responsible for re-screening selected cases for quality control

Slide preparation, staining, and imaging, as needed

Oversees and reviews completion of quality control results, and takes remedial action when indicated.

Works under the direction of the Lead Cytotechnologist.

Schedule is flexible; Full or Part-time positions are available
Education and Experience:

College degree in related sciences, plus one year of dedicated cytology training in an accredited school of cytotechnology. Must be registered as a cytotechnologist with ASCP.

At least two years of experience as a certified cytotechnologist preferred
