About the Role:
Job Title – Cybersecurity Engineer
Key Duties:
- Fine-tune and improve a variety of sophisticated software implementation projects
- Gather and analyze system requirements, document specifications, and develop software solutions to meet client needs and data
- Analyze and review enhancement requests and specifications
- Prepare dashboards, reports
- Prepare the detailed software specifications and test plans
- Create migration packages for system testing, user testing, and implementation
- Provide quality assurance reviews
- Perform post-implementation validation of software and resolve any bugs found during testing
- Lead retrospectives for key learnings
- Prepare status reports
Minimum qualifications:
- Develop an understanding of the service Threat Insider Defense Engineering provides and our customers needs.
- Analyze data available to identify service improvements (and identify gaps in data that would be helpful going forward)
- Develop reporting and dashboards to illustrate findings and influence priority decisions for changes to be adopted.
- Identify solutions to address the improvements identified and drive solutions to closure.
- Showcase customer obsession
- Working in an agile framework with sprints, design discussions.
- Testing the quality and functionality of the code and the tool
- Communication of status reports, issues, risks, escalations, help needed
- 8+ years of Network Security Experience
- 8+ years of experience with Cyber Security Operations (or providing support to)
- Languages such as C sharp, Kusto Query Language (KQL), Python with Synaps examples, AzureDevOps, KQL, SQL, PowerBI, Tableau, etc
Location: Redmond, WA
Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $120000 - $140000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
