Job Title: Cybersecurity Policy Administrator
Responsibilities of the Cybersecurity Policy Administrator
EDC Consulting LLC (EDC) is seeking candidates for a Cybersecurity Policy Administrator supporting the U.S. Army remotely. The Cybersecurity Policy Administrator will be responsible for a full range of cybersecurity services, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry best practices. The candidate will work collaboratively with technical and policy teams to implement and maintain security controls and policies, as well as support customers in obtaining and maintaining necessary certifications.
The Cybersecurity Policy Administrator will:
- Serve as the subject matter expert on Cybersecurity Policy Administration.
- Utilize Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) to add and update documentation, import ACAS and STIG files, manage POA&Ms, and oversee all aspects of eMASS management.
- Collaborate between technical and policy teams to implement, maintain, and monitor technical security configuration controls, including STIGs, SRGs, and other security hardening guidance.
- Work with technical and policy teams to successfully implement and manage requirements for maintaining Authorization to Operate (ATO) and security control inheritance capabilities.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to translate high-level technical objectives into comprehensive technical requirements.
- Act as the ISSO for hosted systems, fulfilling the responsibilities defined in AR 25-2.
- Assist hosted customers in obtaining and maintaining RMF for DOD IT and other required certifications.
- Update artifacts of the authorization package and store them in the designated repository, including system diagrams, hardware/software/firmware inventory, interface and ports information, protocols, and services listing, etc.
- Assist in the preparation of network infrastructure specifications or designs that incorporate necessary information security features.
- Review and evaluate Information Systems Design Plans, Continuity of Operation Plans, Communication Plans, engineering change proposals, and configuration changes for compliance with relevant security regulations, policies, and industry best practices.
- Maintain regular interaction with the Army CSSP and customer ISSMs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree with 12+ years of experience or Masters Degree with 10+ years of experience.
- Strong experience working with eMASS.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple large-scale projects.
- Desired experience in automating routine administrative tasks.
- Understanding of network, storage, server, and application technologies.
- Working knowledge of DOD STIGs and IA Vulnerability Management (IAVM).
- CAP, CASP+ CE, CISM, CISSP, GSLC, CCISO, or HCISPP Certified.
- CompTIA Security + Certified
- Active Secret Security Clearance
