In partnership with key stakeholders, lead the development and management of the cyber budget. This includes but is not limited to pro-active tracking and consolidation of all current and projected expenditures into a multi-year forecast, monthly accruals and forecast adjustments, variance explanations, and QORs.
Serve as primary liaison between cyber, IT, and FP&A stakeholders ensuring adherence to financial processes and reporting requirements, and cross-functional transparency of cyber financials.
Drive strategic decision-making through the proactive identification and communication of budgetary risks and opportunities to key cyber stakeholders.
Implement processes and governance to ensure all purchases are authorized, in alignment with forecast, within approved spend thresholds, and in adherence to organizational sourcing and spend governance processes.
Lead process improvement and simplification initiatives across financial processes and spend visibility
In partnership with functional teams, pro-actively manage cyber vendor contracts and spend. This includes but is not limited to tracking and coordination of contract renewals, tracking and coordination of invoicing, and due diligence assurance related to payment and services rendered.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in finance accounting or other related discipline AND Seven (7+) years of experience managing financials for IT system or software products
OR
High School Diploma/GED from AND Fourteen (14+) years of experience managing financials for IT system or software products
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
Seven (7+) years of finance/accounting experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Five (5+) years of IT business operations management experience
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Master's degree in finance or other related discipline from an accredited institution
Ability to deal with a complex business model in a global environment
Ability to play both a strategic and tactical role
Strong financial acumen – ability to translate complex business problems into financial terms
Creative problem solving – ability to work with diverse functional teams to evaluate and address key issues
Strong business knowledge and strategic thinking mindset
Strong verbal and written communication skills
