Cyber Security Support Engineer at Piper Companies

Piper Companies is seeking a Cyber Security Support Engineer for an Information technology government-contractor in Dayton, OH.

Responsibilities for the Cyber Security Support Engineer:

·      Lead the design, implementation, operation and maintenance of the cybersecurity infrastructure

·      Incorporate DOD-directed vulnerability solutions into the enclave systems and network designs, such as IAVA requirements

·      Implement strategies such as blocking/filtering, IDS/IPS, anti-virus, logical traffic separation, content analysis, and DISA compliance

·      Work with cybersecurity and project teams to meet engineering requirements

·      Ensure secure backups with a documented plan and proper storage

Qualifications for the Cyber Security Support Engineer:

·      5+ years of Linux experience

·      3+ years experience working with IDS, IPS, and Host Based Security Solutions

·      Experience with tools such as Kali, Burpsuite Professional, Python, and Bash

·      Security+ Certification and Certified Ethical Hacker required

·      BA/S in Computer Science or other related field

Compensation/Benefits for the Cyber Security Support Engineer:

·      Salary Range: $170,000 - $190,000 **depending on experience**
