Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) is seeking a highly motivated Cyber Security Engineer to manage HBSS and ACAS systems. This role requires a cybersecurity engineer to provide onsite support for our customer's host-based security system (HBSS) and their assured compliance assessment solution (ACAS). Any qualified Cybersecurity Engineer will need to have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Tool-Specific Responsibilities:
HBSS/Trellix:
- Ensure the Security Center is being updated regularly; address unsuccessful updates of the SC and identify the root cause of the unsuccessful update
- Configure, operate and maintain HBSS and its components (ePolicy Orchestrator, McAfee Agent, Data Loss Prevention, Host Intrusion Prevention System, Policy Auditor, ESS, Asset Baseline Monitor, and Virus Scan Enterprise) on Windows and Linux creating exceptions to allow essential processes to continue uninterrupted
ACAS:
- Installation, monitoring, testing, troubleshooting, and administration of the ACAS/Nessus Vulnerability Scanner
- Automation of weekly security scans and provide on an ad hoc basis as deemed by customers and ISSM
- Ensure scheduled scans are covering 100% of intended assets and are being run successfully
General Responsibilities:
- Generate reporting for the various stakeholders including upper management
- Analyze and assist in the application of (STIGs) and (IAVAs)
- Provide guidance on vulnerability and malware remediation.
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and close familiarity with Vulnerability Management Systems, Continuous Monitoring, and Risk Scoring
- Experience with security architectures
- Experience in Windows and Linux system administration
- Ability to analyze the customer’s needs and identify security requirements/solutions.
- Experience with DoD STIGS, IA Tools (SCCVI, SCRI, Host Based Security System), program, and Risk Management Framework
- Configure, optimize and test vulnerability scans against new and existing Operating Systems and platforms
- Troubleshoot credential failure issues by performing configuration analysis against the target device
- Conduct vulnerability analysis, and research, collaborate with System Administrators to mitigate identified vulnerabilities and/or author Plans of Action and Milestones (PO&AM) as needed
- Perform scan policy analysis & configuration to determine the impact of vulnerability scanning against target devices
- Be available on an occasional ad-hoc basis to assist in troubleshooting and remediation with customer technology issues
Required Qualifications:
- US Citizen. Must have an active Top-Secret clearance (SCI eligible)
- HS diploma or GED and 10+ years of experience with supporting IT projects and activities, Associate’s degree and 8+ years of experience with supporting IT projects and activities, Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of experience with supporting IT projects and activities
- DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II Certification, including Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, GICSP, or CND
- 5+ years of experience as a systems administrator using HBSS or ACAS
- Minimum 5 years’ hands on experience configuring McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (McAfee ePO) and/or McAfee Endpoint Security (McAfee ENS)
- Experience with automating deployments or configuration management of cybersecurity tools operations
- Experience with Risk Management Framework
- Experience with installing, configuring, or maintaining devices, applications, and security tools, such as DoD Endpoint Security Solution (ESS) formerly (HBSS)
- Effective communication and presentation skills (i.e., ability to present ideas effectively in formal and informal situations in group and individual settings)
- Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills (i.e., ability to effectively plan, organize, and prioritize work, and to control and follow up to assure work completion)
