Colorado Water Conservation Board
The Colorado Water Conservation Board exists to advocate the protection, conservation, and development of water of the State in order to secure the greatest utilization of such waters for the benefit of the present and future inhabitants of the State of Colorado.

The Work Unit:
The Watershed and Flood Protection Section of the CWCB exists to prevent flood damages and reduce Colorado's vulnerability to property damage and loss of life, and to create feasible funding packages for flood control and drainage projects for Colorado communities. The Colorado Water Conservation Board advocates the protection, conservation, and development of the waters of the state in order to secure the greatest utilization of such waters and the utmost prevention of floods for the benefit of present and future inhabitants of the State.
