Who we’re looking for
TMNA ESV’s (Electronic Systems Vehicle) Vehicle Development team is seeking a collaborative engineer to work on Body Electronics. The primary responsibility of this role is vehicle development for Body Electronics. Reporting to the Vehicle Development Senior Manager, the person in this role will work to fill Electronic Systems Vehicle’s objective of building a NA electronics center of excellence that complements Client Global direction.
What you’ll be doing
Vehicle application of Body Electronics (Body ECU, AC ECU, etc.)
Plan structure and design of Body Electronics through target setting, packaging and style feasibility that balances performance, customer needs and cost while ensuring regulatory compliance
Issue design specifications to suppliers and manage supplier schedule, performance and quality
Manage part list and issue internal design documents including engineering change instructions and wiring specifications
Requirements:
THIS POSITION WILL BE WORKING A HYBRID SCHEDULE(TUES/WED/THURS ONSITE )
What you bring
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent)
Excellent problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills
5 years or more as an electrical design engineer
Must be able to work up to 30% Overtime
What you may bring
Experience in vehicle electronics development
Experience in CATIA
