Responsibilities
- Manage high-volume customer accounts and support 3 outside sales reps.
- Handle end-to-end customer needs, including order entry, shipping coordination, credit processing, and managing bills of lading.
- Communicate with clients and suppliers via email and phone, ensuring prompt and professional service.
- Navigate an ever-changing environment with a stop-and-go workflow, juggling multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously.
- Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel to manage data and streamline processes.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years in B2B customer service, ideally within a manufacturing or distribution setting. Chemical industry experience is a plus.
- Skills: Strong multitasking, prioritization, organization, and time management skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Personality: High energy, team-oriented, with a bubbly, approachable demeanor.
- Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and can see the big picture while maintaining attention to detail.
