About the Job
The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is looking for our next Automotive Collision Customer Service Specialist located at Wayzata Collision Center, the Automotive Collision Customer Service Specialist isresponsible for estimating and calculating the cost to repair a vehicle, to replace vehicle parts, or the entire vehicle.

Job Duties:
- Calculate the customer's bill using the dealership's computer system.
- Track and record payments from customers and insurance.
- Answer phones and direct consumer to the proper department and follow up in a timely manner. * Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer complaining customers to the appropriate individual for resolution.
- Customer Service: Update all guests on a regular basis. All guests need to know of any changes with their repair throughout the process.
- Must follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Promptly and efficiently answer multi-line switchboard and transfer calls.
- Check with Management at the end of each shift before leaving the dealership to make sure they do not need anything additional.
- Regular attendance consistent with attendance policy.
- Review vehicle damage and work with estimator and senior technician to write a supplement based on discoveries. Create a repair plan for the technician and pull any TIS/repair documents needed for repair. (Any weld on panels MUST have TIS documentation). All supplements are to be submitted within 24 hours. Work with insurance companies to manage claim and negotiate pricing if needed.
- Parts Ordering: Work with Parts to order/locate all parts needed for repair.
- Quality Check: Review all finalized work to ensure all work performed meets or exceeds the standards of The Wayzata Auto Center Collision Repair.
- File Reconciliation: Review your file to make sure all documents are up-to-date, all signatures are captured and proper documentation is in file.
- Perform any other special duties as requested by Dealer and other Managers.
- High school diploma or equivalent- required
- 2+ years of Body Shop experience - preferred
- CDK experience- preferred
- Excellent oral communication skills- required
- Ability to communicate customers' interests needs and requests to management and sales personnel- required
- 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy- required
