Pennichuck Corporation is a private water utility engaged in the collection, storage, treatment, distribution and sale of potable water in southern and central New Hampshire. We operate both as a regulated water utility operation and a non-regulated water management service. Our Corporate headquarters is located in Nashua, New Hampshire.
CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST (Hours - Monday - Thursday 8:30 am to 7 pm)
We are now looking for an experienced Customer Service Specialist to join our busy Revenue and Customer Operations team. The primary focus of this position is to ensure that customer inquiries and concerns regarding their water/sewer accounts are addressed promptly, professionally and effectively.
Qualifications for this full time position include:
- A minimum of a high school education. An Associate’s degree is a plus!
- At least three years of customer service experience. Experience working in a customer service oriented role within a utility is preferred!
- The ability to tactfully respond to a customer’s queries regarding payments, billings, water quality or appointment scheduling.
- Strong communications skills with the demonstrated ability to effectively and professionally respond to customer phone calls and emails regarding a variety of inquiries regarding billings, notices, payments and general water-related concerns.
- Strong math, organizational and analytical skills.
- An eye for detail.
- The proven ability to be a solid team player.
- Basic knowledge of standard office equipment.
- Proficiency in Word or Excel.
- Experience with MUNIS or similar customer service database.
- Candidates with Teller experience are encouraged to apply!
