Customer Service Associate - The Lingle Corporation
Formerly known as: Cashier
Purpose:
The customer service associate ensures that each customer that enters retail locations are greeted and acknowledged as well as accurately processing sales and payments for goods/services and provide receipts to customers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure daily store conditions are aligned with the Lingle Company policy and customer expectations. Associates must follow compliance with all City, State, and Federal requirements.
- Assist customers where possible and provide answers to product and payment-related queries
- Refer customers to the right person to answer queries and deal with any problems
- Accurately process sales using cash registers, scanners, or equipment
- Accept cash, checks, and bankcards for payment
- Process payments according to Lingle Corporation procedure, providing change for cash payments and issuing receipts for all payments received. Process returns and redeem food stamps and coupons.
- Maintain accurate record of transactions, all while bagging merchandise.
- May be required to assist in other areas, such as shelf stocking, product display, pricing, and clean-up
- Maintain a neat, tidy, and orderly work area

- Must be dependable and flexible based on the needs of the business.
- Must adhere to the Company dress code at all times.
Physical Requirements:
- Requires the ability to reach, bend, balance, lift, push, pull, and grasp
- Must have the ability to stand, walk, and/or move for extended periods of time
