In this key position, you'll be at the heart of creating an exceptional customer experience for Morgan Scientific.
What You'll Do:
- Assist customers with general questions about our equipment and supplies
- Receive orders via, phone, fax, email or website
- Enter orders in system, post/print/mail invoices or submit invoices electronically
- Establish and maintain customer accounts
a. Cash receipts/returns/credits/refunds
b. Send monthly statements as requested by customer
- Prepare Quotes as requested
- Arrange method of payment and process credit card payments
- Manage and maintain customer back orders/special orders
- Issue customer RMA for returned goods.
- Record sales related to a specific promotion
- Monitor and maintain blanket purchase orders
- Trace or track orders previously placed from customer
- General office duties (i.e. typing/filing/scanning)
- Sort & distribute incoming mail
- Submit monthly end reports to EVP US Sales and Operations
- Maintain files and documentation per company policy
- Assist Import/Export in absence of Warehouse and logistics manager
- Monitor WHSE inventory for high demand items
What You'll Bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associates degree or higher in a business-related field preferred
- Certification in MS Office or other business systems preferred
- Excellent computer skills: navigating Windows, highly familiar with MS Office (excel & word in particular)
- Experience with Sage 100 highly preferred
- Good telephone manner and ability to navigate telephone system (e.g., transfers, voicemail checks, etc.)
- Experience of working with accounting software
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Organization - able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize by order of importance; highly efficient at repeated tasks
