Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Location: Whitehouse Station, NJ (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 Months (CTH)
Job Schedule: Training Schedule - Weeks 1 and 2 expected to be in office (5 days), then hybrid could apply 3 office/2 home) subject to manager approval and CSR readiness.
Basically the manager needs to make sure they are system ready and able to work from home, so the 2 weeks is our newest guidance for our team
Job Hours-8:30-5:00 with possibility of 9-5:30
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
" Provide superior customer service to all internal/external business partners
Assume ownership and timeliness in handling agency inquiries and policy change requests in an efficient, accurate and professional manner
" Responsible for the issuance of personal insurance new business, endorsements, and renewal policies
" Processing and issuance of incoming email requests for new line quotes/issuance, endorsement and cancellation of personal lines policies.
" Demonstrate the ability to analyze information to make appropriate decisions and solve problems
" Maintain basic knowledge of P&C (Property and Casualty) principals and company products while
following basic underwriting guidelines
" Effectively navigate multiple systems and applications to research, analyze and resolve customer inquiries
" Maintain established levels of productivity and quality standards within a fast paced environment.
" Process assigned work within the established timeframes
" Support the Agency Services phone team by providing superior customer service and quality technical content via incoming telephone calls in a fast-paced, automated, high-volume contact center environment
QUALIFICATIONS:
" Strong customer service skills including oral and written communication
" Some experience in a customer service environment preferred
" Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
" Property and Casualty experience is preferred
" Ability to handle multiple priorities within strict time constraints.
" Excellent collaboration skills
" Possesses the ability to work independently and in a team environment to complete assignments in a timely manner
" Demonstrate commitment to team and departmental goals
" Ability to make informed decisions, achieving the appropriate results
" Excellent data entry skills are required.
" Demonstrated knowledge of Outlook and Teams experience needed
" Ability to work any shift between the hours of 8am and 6pm EST, M-F based on business need
Education/Experience
" High School Diploma or GED
" 1-2 Years of Customer Service experience required
" Prior insurance experience is a plus
