Summary
The Customer Service Representative plays a key role in assisting TMMI's inside sales and warehouse teams with essential office tasks. Responsibilities include providing warehouse support, handling simple order entry requests, and delivering order status updates directly to customers. Additionally, this role involves supporting the customer return material process and serving as the primary point of contact for all customer returns. Responsibilities
- General knowledge of distribution-based businesses with experience working in an office environment.
- Support the inside sales team by handling primary phone calls, routing calls, order entry, and customer order status updates.
- Primary point of contact for all customer requests for repairs and returns.
- Provide primary coverage when warehouse personnel are out of the office and assist during peak demand.
- Assist with basic office tasks as required by management (e.g., ordering office supplies, helping with customer events).
Ideal candidates will have
- High business acumen.
- One or more years of experience in office administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and similar programs.
- Strong customer service orientation, both external and internal.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt effectively to change.
- Self-direction and the ability to complete complex tasks with minimal supervision.
- A "go-getter" attitude with a commitment to TMMI's values and long-term goals.
- High school diploma or GED.
- College degree in a business discipline (strongly preferred).
- Previous experience in industrial distribution.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, with a preference for experience with P21 and other office software.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel.
Position Details
- Location: Wheat Ridge, Colorado office.
- Workdays: Monday to Friday with flexible scheduling within core working hours.
- Infrequent travel may be required.
