POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for providing excellent customer service to patients and visitors.
SALARY RANGE:
$25.75 - $29.50 per hour DOE
HOURS
8 per Day / 5 Days per Week
CATEGORIES OF DUTIES
1. Greet and assist patients and visitors entering facility. .
2. General clerical assistance, e.g., typing, photocopying.
3. Assist with monitoring lobby and Admissions waiting room and front entry with regular rounds in and outside. Enforce no smoking policies.
4. Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with agency policy and procedures and Federal laws.
5. Conducts self in a professional manner in areas of dress, language, attitude, and behavior.
6. Record incidents and/or unusual problems that hamper expedient lobby operation or otherwise disturbs a calm, pleasant atmosphere.
7. Shall be responsible to either open or close front office/lobby.
8. Understand and abide by code of ethics and patient rights.
9. Always supervise and monitor patient activities and whereabouts.
10. Conduct body and property searches of patients in accordance with the search policy and procedure.
11. Page unauthorized vehicles for tow away with authorization.
12. Demonstrate consistency by supporting patients during ordinary and extraordinary times.
13. Obtain and maintain CPR and First Aid certification as well as be trained in Narcan administration.
14. Obtain and maintain training in recognizing and responding to potential patient overdoses, seizures, fainting, falls and other risk conditions.
15. Assist with other duties assigned by Office Manager, Office Manager Assistant or Administration as deemed necessary.
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or G.E.D. EXPERIENCE Knowledge of customer service, switchboard and appropriate telephone skills. Knowledge of general receptionist duties; bi-lingual preferred. Experience working with the general public. Pleasant personality and good attitude. Drug free minimum of one (1) year.
