Customer Service Representative from Elgen Staffing

About the Job
Our client, a nationwide manufacturer of packaged goods, has an immediate need for an experienced Customer Service Representative, to join their growing team in North Syracuse.
Our candidate of choice will be responsible for managing relationships with new and existing customers, acting as the primary contact for customer questions and support. You will be responsible for providing administrative and operational assistance to the sales team, managing customer inquiries and communications, and coordinating with various departments within the company. Candidates who are bi-lingual in Spanish/English strongly preferred.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as the account and customer service representative as assigned by the Customer Service Manager.
- Assist the sales team in managing customer inquiries, orders, and quotations for specific identified customers.
- Act as liaison between sales/customer and internal departments (estimating, pre-press, purchasing, technical and production), communicating customer requirements and requests in an accurate and timely manner.
- Ensure timely and accurate order processing.
- Handle incoming calls and emails from customers, addressing their queries, providing product information, and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain relationships, gather feedback, and follow up with customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Work with sales and technical team to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner and communicate outcomes to sales team and/or customer when necessary.
- Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate and timely processing of sales orders, invoices, and payments.
- Other duties as assigned.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); bachelor’s degree in marketing or business a plus.
- Two (2) to three (3) years of related sales or customer service experience or training; experience in the printing field a plus.
- Bi-lingual in Spanish is highly desired.
- Proven experience in a customer support or administrative role, preferably in the label printing industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and internal teams.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficient in using business system software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Knowledge of printing processes, materials, and industry terminology is required.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
