Ideal Candidate: Strong communicator, exceptional customer service skills both face-to-face and phone, avid learner including many processes and various activities, strong listener, solution driven, prone to attention to detail with strong follow-up due to potential interruptions. Experience gained in the construction and distribution industries favored.
Position Summary: The CSR supports sales personnel to research solutions, respond to customer requests and identify leads for selling opportunities.
Position Details:

- Status: Full-time (40 hours/week)
- Classification: Non-exempt (Overtime available)
- Schedule: Monday - Friday
- Shift: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
- Business Hours: 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (No weekends)
- Location:
- 7615 Othello Avenue, Suite B, San Diego, CA 92111
- Workforce: Under 25 employees.
- Compensation: Based on experience, knowledge, ability
- Hourly Range: $23.00 - $26.00
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provides exceptional, knowledgeable customer service and technical support.
- Assists the sales and operations team.
- Follows policies, procedures, and safety procedures.
- Research, learn, and maintain product information.
Skills:
- Professionalism including dependability required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative.
- Ability to write, read business correspondence, English language.
- Ability to research, analyze, interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations.
- Ability to calculate figures, amounts, apply basic algebra and geometry.
- Entry level proficiency in the use of Microsoft office/computer tools.
- Construction industry and/or building material products knowledge/experience highly desired, 2 years.
- Distribution experience highly welcomed, 1 year.
- Bi-lingual, Spanish and English, favored.
- Sales experience highly desired.
