This position requires a customer-centric mindset, adept project management abilities, and a knack for navigating sophisticated service systems.
Responsibilities:
Customer Support (60%):
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer and dealer inquiries, providing prompt assistance via various channels.
Manage case openings and ensure swift resolution by directing queries to the appropriate departments.
Address common inquiries and offer support resources to customers.
Maintain accurate customer records and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
Process payments and invoices as necessary, collaborating with internal teams for seamless issue resolution.
Foster relationships with service providers to enhance our national network.
Rental Coordination (10%):
Facilitate equipment rentals, overseeing contracts, invoicing, and logistics.
Coordinate training sessions and manage transport logistics.
Liaise with insurance providers and collaborate with sales/service teams to provide loaner machines.
Coordinate field repairs in conjunction with dispatch.
Service Writing (30%):
Welcome service customers and manage intake procedures, documenting equipment condition and setting expectations.
Generate estimates and liaise with technicians and parts department for accurate quoting.
Provide timely updates to customers with machines in service.
Requirements:
1-2 years of relevant experience in equipment service, rentals, or a related field.
Proficiency in conflict resolution and de-escalation, with strong interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability in work order and rental contract writing.
Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills and proficiency in CRM systems.
Preferred: Two years of experience with Salesforce, Oracle Netsuite, or similar CRM, experience in a call center or customer service role, proficiency in scheduling travel and material transport, proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, or Italian, experience in vendor negotiations and relationship management.
