Byerly Aviation is looking for Customer Service Representatives!
Byerly Aviation, located at the Peoria's General Wayne A Downing International Airport (PIA), offers customers a full range of services. Byerly offers aircraft charter services under the FAA Part 135 certificate. Our FBO also offers aircraft sales and brokerage services, aircraft maintenance and avionics, aircraft paint services as well as supplying fuel, both into-plane and retail, deicing and hanger services. Byerly also offers ground support equipment maintenance and refurbishment. Byerly has an experienced and professional staff, recognized by the FAA with the Diamond Award of Excellence 5 years consecutively.
Byerly Aviation remains one of the Premier Twin Commander Authorized Service Centers. In addition Byerly also added Mooney and Cirrus to the list of aircraft supported by our facility.
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers by using in-depth knowledge of company products and services as well as communicating effectively with team members within the customer service department and other departments at Byerly Aviation. This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, scanners and fax machine.
Customer Service Representative
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide concierge service for customers and provide additional information and services as required
- Deal with and help resolve any customer complaints
- Provide information about products and services
- Take customer orders, calculate charges, and process billing or payments
- Review or make changes to customer accounts
- Record details of customer contacts and actions taken
- Refer customers to supervisors
Must be flexible to work holidays, weekends and evenings
Pay Range: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour DOE

Qualifications for Customer Service Representative
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have ability to work with patience and courtesy in customer relations
- Must have ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Must have the ability to think quickly and logically to ensure expedient response to customer inquiries
- Must have strong organization skills
- Ability to work with Excel and Microsoft Word
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and smell. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
