Customer Service Representative - Quality Glass and Mirror Services

About the Job
We are hiring for our operations team at Quality Glass and Mirror Service. We are a high growth, market leader in glass fabrication and installation in the greater Omaha Area. As a member of our operations team at Quality Glass, you will be directly engaged in customer service, processing orders, supporting purchasing and invoicing, and supporting our production teams. Quality fabricates industry-leading glass products for interior and exterior applications for a variety of projects across commercial, residential, and education customers. This role requires a desire to learn, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding results – our name is our reputation, and we take Quality seriously.
In this role you will:
- Process customer orders received via phone and email and acknowledge order status with customers
- Manage a high volume of communication from customers via phone and email
- Work collaboratively with the wholesale operations team to meet customer and production needs
- Learn to quote standard and customized customer orders in support of the sales team
Background and Experience Required:
- Effective communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot customer service issues
- Strong working knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Preferred experience:
- Prior work experience in the glass industry or knowledge of different types of glass and aluminum products, including tempered, laminated, insulated, and decorative glass
- Experience with process improvement or improving efficiency of high-volume tasks through automation
