Position Summary:
The Customer Service Representative is the voice of the customer by leading and prioritizing superior service, positive customer relations and by recognizing and responding appropriately to internal and external customer requests in an efficient and timely manner. Working in conjunction with planning, engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, shipping, and quality to ensure on-time delivery of products.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers in response to new orders, quote requests for repeat parts, expedite requests, change order requests, RMA requests, accounting issues, and other inquires as per customer requests.
- Communicate with internal departments and management as needed to respond to customer inquiries.
- Assist account manager as requested with administrative or other tasks as needed to meet customer requirements.
- Ensure prompt, courteous and concise responses at all times when dealing with external and internal communications.
- Enter all sales orders, manage all change order requests, and manage all repeat quote requests.
- Provide timely and accurate account information as requested by Sales Management.
- Maintain knowledge of and adherence to all department procedures and policies.
- Adheres to all company and departmental policies and procedures.
- Maintain customer and MASS Quality requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
