Galco Industrial Electronics is an authorized distributor for over one million products from over 400 brands. We specialize in industrial, electrical and electronic automation, control and component solutions. Our distribution center stocks over 50,000 products and offers same day shipping and emergency service. We offer on-site and in-house repair services, as well as, engineering services which facilitate integration, retrofits and upgrades.
We are currently looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team.
The CSR will assist our customers on inbound calls, live website chat and assisting customers via e-mail; will help to sell all four divisions of Galco (Components, Send-in Repair, On-Site Repair and Engineered Systems). Customer Service Reps will be responsible for answering customer inquiries and fulfilling requests for quotes and orders; supporting customers by handling requests for updates on order status and requests for returns.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for our Customer Service Representative, as are strong organizational and multi-tasking skills. Customer Service Rep must be detail-oriented and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Solid knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook is required. Additionally, knowledge of industrial controls is a plus, as is the ability to speak Spanish (but neither are required).
