CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE - Lead - Port Washington, Nassau County, Long Island NY
Our client is a premier wholesale distributor of building materials, and is currently seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative LEAD.
The position is full time and fully on-site with no remote option.
Hours: M-F, 8:00am - 5:00pm or 9:00 am – 6:00 pm

Job responsibilities:
- Order entry
- Inbound and outbound calls
- Respond to customer inquiries via email
- Work closely with warehouse staff
- Shipment claims
- Upselling to customers
- Other administrative tasks
Requirements:
- 2-5 years experience in customer service
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferable, Chinese is a plus
- Comfortable working under pressure and in a fast paced environment.
- Cheerful, upbeat attitude with a positive approach.
- Highly flexible, able to work on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Must have basic computer skills, knowledge in Excel is a plus.
