We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Consulting Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team in the Mortgage industry. The successful candidate will be a problem solver, detail-oriented, and have excellent organizational skills. You will be the frontline of communication with our customers, ensuring they receive the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
1. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring all customer queries are handled promptly and professionally.
2. Provide consulting services to customers, advising them on the best mortgage options based on their needs and financial situation.
3. Utilize your knowledge of mortgage products, services, and policies to educate customers and help them make informed decisions.
4. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues, escalating complex issues to the appropriate departments when necessary.
5. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken.
6. Contribute to the development and implementation of new procedures and initiatives to improve customer service efficiency.
7. Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and competitive products to effectively consult with customers.
8. Participate in regular training and professional development sessions to enhance your knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role in the mortgage industry.
2. Proven experience in a consulting role, with the ability to provide sound advice and solutions to customers.
3. Exceptional organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
4. Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all customer interactions and documentation.
5. Experience working in a Big Box environment, demonstrating the ability to manage high volumes of customer interactions.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to customers.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to resolving issues and improving processes.
8. Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software and other computer applications.
9. A strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service, with a patient and empathetic approach to handling customer queries and complaints.
10. Knowledge of current mortgage products, services, and regulations is preferred.
