Customer Service Representative - Fuchs North America Inc

Location: Hampstead, Maryland

FULL TIME

Hours: 8am-4:30pm

JOB SUMMARY: The customer service representative is responsible for providing a distinct level of service for all internal and external customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs as well as communicating effectively with team members throughout the company.

• Provides timely and accurate information to incoming customer order status and product knowledge requests
• Processes customer orders/changes/returns according to established department policies and procedures.
• Works closely with the credit department to resolve disputed credit items.
• Provides timely feedback to the company regarding service failures or customer concerns.
• Partners with the sales team to meet and exceed customer’s service expectations
• Provide quality service and support to both customers and sales team.
• Maintain communication with customer throughout the order process including changes to scheduled deliveries.
• Process document requests through CRM
• Maintain outside warehouse stock levels in accordance with company guidelines (if applicable)
• Provide a balance between company policy and customer benefit in decision making.
• All other duties as assigned. 

SKILLS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 2 years of customer service-related experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of MS Office applications
• Working knowledge of ERP and CRM systems
• Ability to manage multiple complex tasks
• Good problem solving/analytical skills
• Well organized and good time management skills
• Teamwork oriented
• A college degree is a plus
