Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) is a bonus. The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, processing sales orders, and generating invoices. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner.
- Process sales orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all details are correct and up-to-date.
- Generate and distribute invoices to customers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Assist customers with questions related to billing, payments, and account status.
- Collaborate with the AP/AR team to resolve any billing discrepancies and ensure accurate payment processing.
- Maintain and update customer records in the company database.
- Provide support to the sales team by preparing quotes, processing returns, and handling order changes.
- Monitor customer accounts for any overdue payments and assist in the collection process when necessary.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of company products and services to effectively assist customers.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
