About the Job
Responsibilities:
- The individual must get to know their accounts, track their progress and prepare themselves for each call to develop the customer as a maximum user of the product we have to offer.
- Would be required to work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure that orders are being processed in a timely manner and to answer on product specific questions.
- Each member of the sales/customer service staff is assigned established accounts to service.
- This includes calling those accounts at predetermined intervals to get orders and help customers with questions that develop.
- Candidate should have at least 2+ years experience as a customer service representative within a manufacturing environment - preferably metal fabrication or jewelry production.
- The ability to work with the manufacturing team is crucial as this role is very hands on and requires product knowledge to effectively answer customer questions.
- Must be an effective communicator with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Should be comfortable making client and customer phone calls and handling requests.
- Expected to be proficient with computers, specifically all aspects of Microsoft Office.
