About the Job
Weyerhaeuser is searching for a Customer Service Rep (CSR) to support our Charlotte Distribution Center in Concord, NC. This is an office based, full-time, non-exempt position reporting to the Charlotte DC Sales Manager. As a CSR, you will support the sales function for existing and prospective customers via telephone to sell Distribution's full range of products, including engineered lumber, plywood, OSB, distributed products and dimension lumber.
Intermediate customer support role that interacts daily with sales and/or long-term and potential new customers. Collaborates with a team of sales professionals and is a member of and/or supports a larger sales team in a specific Wood Products business. Has product knowledge and broad knowledge of customers, company procedures, products, pricing, and services and can assist with most to all order entry. Works with the Customer Service team to ensure high quality customer service and support.
*Accountabilities:*
* Enters orders or assists individual sellers in order file management by ensuring orders are received, priced accurately, shipped and invoiced in an accurate and timely manner using sales tools/SAP effectively. Able to assist with most to all order entry from the simple to complex needing guidance with only the more complicated or unique issues.
* Acts as point of contact for customers, taking ownership of interactions. Troubleshoots simple to complex customer orders and problems, escalating situations appropriately and needing guidance with only the more complex or unique issues. Resolve customer issues in a timely manner with very few errors. Effectively submits new customer requests through SAP transaction (MDG).
* Uses broad knowledge of customers, procedures, products, and services, demonstrating competency in these areas to build rapport, provide customer service and meet customer needs. Specific to Distribution CSRs
* Develops basic knowledge, relationships and position of influence to proactively promote full range of products to established and prospective customers.
* Executes promotions, specials, market pull through activities, and updates to products/pricing/service.
* Collaborates to build and maintain strong relationships with peers, coworkers, internal/external customers, and broader team members and resources. Coaches less experienced team members and may assist in some training
*Responsibilities include:*
* Developing comprehensive knowledge of our customers and products, as well as inventory management
* Building tactical knowledge of order administration, which includes order entry, reporting, and the delivery, claim and return processes (vendor and customer)
* Managing data and systems for the team, which involves working with spreadsheets (Excel); running BI reports; putting price sheets together, and providing SAP information to customers
* Partnering closely with key groups, which includes the sales team and purchasing
* Using good problem-solving skills and professional phone skills to be proactive in solving customer issues and conflict

* Demonstrated strong communication skills including written and verbal (face to face and over the phone)
* Working knowledge of SAP, ASCEND and other customer services tools and enterprise systems with accuracy and attention to detail.; Computer proficiency including Office, Excel, Word, and Web-based programs. Track record of actively seeking out and using technology to help solve problems and gain efficiencies.
* Demonstrated competency and knowledge of products, pricing and customers.
* Demonstrated time management skills and ability to work in a highly organized manner. Proven accuracy/attention to detail with data and information.
* Proven ability to establish and maintain strong and effective working relationships internally and externally.
* Demonstrated problem solving skills and data driven decision making EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
* Minimum HS Diploma/GED
* 1-3 years building products or industry experience in customer service related field OR 1 years successful experience in WY Customer Service Rep I role

Compensation:This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $48,000 - $72,000 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 5% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours
