Customer Service Representative - Golden Star Technology

We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Customer Service Representative. The primary role of the Customer Service Representative is to process customer requests for quotes, purchase orders, and any other customer requirements.

In this role, you will maximize company strategies and drive value added solution selling. Working with internal and external company resources, the CSR must provide customer service in quoting, fulfilling orders, ensuring on-time delivery, and troubleshooting customer problems. You will function as a key liaison between suppliers and customers to ensure efficiency and accuracy. You will assist the field sales team in business development and sales on existing and new customer accounts.

Job Requirements:

• Creating customer quotes and processing purchase orders
• Review orders for compliance including pricing, terms, and delivery
• Manage backlog and open order reports in GST's system or customer portals
• Track, review, and follow up on quote log and open order activities
• Process and follow up on RMA's
• Follow up with customers in a timely manner
• Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve high customer satisfaction
• Manage tactical day-to-day customer inquiries
• Assist sales team's efforts to respond, process, and document customer RFQ's
• Assist with business development
• Perform other customer service or business requirements.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
• Two years of prior experience in business and/or sales
• Exceptional critical thinking skills, independent thinker and great team player
• Attention to detail
• Prior experience in data extraction and price quote preparation
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Ability to deal with a rapid paced/multitasking fast growth environment is a must
• Strong communication, documentation and presentation skills with a rigorous customer service attitude is required
• Ability to remain flexible and can shift and adjust priorities quickly and efficiently
