Are you an organized and customer-focused individual with a passion for delivering excellent service? Join our team as a Customer Service Representative at Custom Fabricating & Supplies, where you'll be the first point of contact for our clients and prospects, ensuring seamless coordination with Sales, Operations, Purchasing, Estimating, and Engineering teams. This role also involves seeking out government contract opportunities, managing customer orders, and building strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients, addressing their queries and processing orders efficiently.
- Order Management: Process customer data, manage orders, and ensure timely delivery of products and services.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (Sales, Operations, etc.) to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.
- Cold Calling & Lead Generation: Proactively research and prospect leads via email and cold calling to meet company sales goals.
- Government Contracts: Identify and bid on relevant government contracts, ensuring timely submission and compliance with requirements.
Skills We're Looking For:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships with clients, both internal and external.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/CRM systems.
- Experience with customer service in a B2B environment.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of Customer Service experience.
- Experience working with ERP/CRM systems is a plus.
