Client Overview:
Our client is well-known manufacturing company looking for a Customer Service Representative to join their team. This role will be a big part of team growth and should have excellent communication.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$18/hr
Position Overview:
The Customer Service Representative will be the first point of contact for our valued customers. The Customer Service Representative will handle inquiries, provide product/service information, and resolve any emerging issues that our customers might face with accuracy and efficiency. Goal is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries, and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative:
- Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat promptly and professionally
- Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods and tools
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
- Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint, determining the cause of the problem, selecting, and explaining the best solution, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution
- Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and file documents
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
- Go the extra mile to engage customers and ensure a positive experience
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve overall company goals
Qualifications for the Customer Service Representative:
- Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Education Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED is required
- College degree is preferred
