Customer Service Representative (Applications/Records)
Do you have an eye for detail and the focus for accurate data entry? Do you like working with others who are passionate about their work? If so, come join The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE)! We are currently searching for an applications/records representative to provide prompt and accurate processing and data entry of all applications, renewal batches, databases changes and maintenance, and other routine email, chat, and telephone customer service support.
Responsibilities include:
- Analyzing, reviewing, and data entering all incoming membership applications
- Reviewing and processing bank renewal batches
- Responding to inquiries and concerns from all customers (internal and external
- Sending invoices and pending letters to members
- Providing training support to new employees
The ideal candidate will have:
- Associates degree or equivalent work experience
- 2-3 years' experience in customer service role
- Intermediate proficiency with MS Office and CRM software or database (Personify a plus)
- Strong organizational, communication, writing, and proofreading skills
- Ability to analyze documents and employ logic to determine correct membership grade levels
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work both independently and on a team
- A positive and enthusiastic customer service demeanor and strong work ethic
