JOB SUMMARY:
- As a Customer Service Representative in this training role, you’ll learn to perform essential functions related to managing contractual relationships with healthcare providers. Your responsibilities include resolving practitioner issues, ensuring smooth network operations, and maintaining effective communication with both internal teams and external providers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Issue Resolution: Assist practitioners with claims, pricing, and contract-related inquiries. Ensure mutual understanding of our relationship with providers and maintain accurate records.
- Training and Education: Contribute to provider training by conducting sessions and distributing relevant materials. Foster understanding of operations.
- Reporting and Coordination: Submit service and recruiting reports as needed. Coordinate resolution of systemic problems and claim issues.
- Network Development: Help review provider directories and establish strong relationships with key facilities, physician groups, and other essential contacts.
- Expertise and Compliance: Maintain expertise in pricing arrangements, contract language, and claims processing. Adhere to HIPAA and corporate policies.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of healthcare/insurance industry experience.
- 3 years in Network Management, Credentialing, or Customer Service.
- 3 years computer knowledge
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Familiarity with healthcare contracts, provider reimbursement methods, and claims processing systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical, organizational, and teamwork abilities.
- Meeting deadlines and working well under pressure.
