Customer Service Representative
Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) are responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients and customers. They act as the first point of contact for inquiries, complaints, and requests, and they strive to resolve issues efficiently and professionally. CSRs are expected to possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written and should be able to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) are responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients and customers. They act as the first point of contact for inquiries, complaints, and requests, and they strive to resolve issues efficiently and professionally. CSRs are expected to possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written and should be able to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answering incoming calls and emails from customers promptly and courteously.
- Providing accurate information about products or services.
- Resolving customer complaints or issues promptly.
- Processing orders, forms, applications, and requests.
- Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
- Will need to be sometimes customer-facing, providing in-person assistance with a friendly and helpful attitude.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail.
- Proficiency in computer systems and software.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
- Patience and empathy when dealing with customers.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of similar office experience
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong math skills, including the ability to calculate square inches and product costs
- Proficient in using computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Working Conditions:
- This position would be in the office Mon-Fri, 8am to 4:30am, but some flexible hours are available.
