We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Customer Service Manager to lead our customer service team in the manufacturing industry. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to drive customer satisfaction and contribute to our company's success. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in customer service, order processing, on-time delivery management, schedule changes, use of standard operating systems, customer quotes, customer interaction, problem-solving, and pricing. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the customer service department.
- Develop and implement customer service policies and procedures to ensure consistent customer satisfaction.
- Manage the order processing system to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products and services.
- Handle schedule changes and communicate effectively with both the team and the customers.
- Utilize standard operating systems to streamline customer service processes and improve efficiency.
- Prepare and provide customer quotes, negotiate contracts, and manage pricing strategies.
- Interact with customers regularly to understand their needs and expectations and ensure their satisfaction.
- Resolve customer complaints and problems in a timely and effective manner.
- Train and mentor customer service staff to improve their skills and performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and high-quality customer service.
- Regularly report on the performance of the customer service department and suggest improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred but not required in lieu of experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service managerial role, preferably in the manufacturing/processing industry.
- Proficient in order processing and on-time delivery management.
- Strong knowledge of standard operating systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to prepare customer quotes and manage pricing strategies.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to handle schedule changes effectively.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
