This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in SAP, ERP, lean manufacturing, and forecasting, who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the customer service team to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Oversee the sales order process, from order entry to fulfillment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Utilize SAP and ERP systems for efficient order management and inventory control.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflows and reduce waste.
- Conduct forecasting activities to predict sales trends and manage inventory levels accordingly.
- Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency in customer service operations.
- Utilize pivot tables to analyze sales data and gain insights into customer behavior.
- Manage inventory, including backorders, purchase orders, and slow-moving inventory, to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer service and operational efficiency.
- Handle customer complaints and issues, ensuring that they are resolved promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5 years of experience in a customer service management role within the manufacturing industry. Experience exceeding 5+ years in customer service leadership role will be considered in leu of a degree.
- Proficient in SAP, ERP, and other relevant software systems.
- Experience with order entry, sales order process, and inventory management.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and their application in a customer service setting.
- Strong forecasting skills, with the ability to predict sales trends and manage inventory accordingly.
- Familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and the ability to develop and enforce them effectively.
- Proficient in the use of pivot tables for data analysis.
- Proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle customer complaints and issues effectively.
- Strong commitment to customer satisfaction, with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
