A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CUSTOMER SERVICE KEY ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVE
As a Customer Service Key Account Representative for tag , you will play a pivotal role in the continued support to provide excellent service for an industry leader in home, gifts, and housewares. You start your day by checking emails and voicemails. Each day you will enter or edit orders, file claims, provide invoice copies, respond to shipping inquiries, answer orders and item status questions and update all daily Key Account Trackers for the Sales and Operations Team.
You will be responsible for maintaining all Key Account customer requirements, vendor manuals and routing guides. Additionally, you will be responsible for Key Account special instructions, ticketing, packing instructions, carton labels and lead times. You will be responsible for key account customer product setup forms, item sample request, and web portals. You will work cross functionally with Sales, Purchasing and Warehouse Team on a daily basis. You will work closely with experienced customer service representatives and managers to build your product knowledge. You will be required to create and maintain internal SOP manuals. Working with management, you will assist in team projects for your department and company.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CUSTOMER SERVICE KEY ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVE
- Minimum 1-2 years in Administrative, Customer Service or a related field
- High School education or equivalent
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (word, excel, outlook and PowerPoint)
- Strong problem-solving, strategic planning, and setting goals
- Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
- Accuracy in Data Entry
- Intermediate proficiency to learn new software quickly.
- Flexibility to adapt changing priorities
- Work independently or in a team environment
- Excellent organizational, time management and project management skills
- Excellent skills managing multiple competing priorities on a daily basis
- Proactive and driven to succeed
- Hard working and enthusiastic approach
Physical requirements
- Prolonged use of computer
- Packing, lifting and carry boxes up to 25 pounds
- Possibly some travel twice a year during Market periods
