Administrative Assistant – Sales Dept.

A local company out of Stockton is searching for an Administrative Assistant for their Sales Department. This role will involve supporting the sales team with various administrative tasks. The position is full-time and long-term.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7 AM - 4 PM
Location: Stockton, CA
Pay: $20.00-$24.00/hour, DOE

Administrative Assistant key duties & responsibilities:

• Support and assist the Sales Department as directed by the Executive Admin Assistant.
• Assist outside Sales Representatives with daily sales activities as time allows.
• Collaborate on special projects such as trade shows, sales functions, sales schools, and technical training.
• Create quotations and correspondence via dictation, written, or telephone instruction.
• Handle electronic emailing, filing, answering phones, and miscellaneous projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Administrative Assistant highlights & qualifications:

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint), accounting, inventory software, and the Internet.
• Experience with general office procedures and equipment.
• Ability to take direction well and keen attention to detail.
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new processes.
