Job Summary:
As Customer Service Representative, in a medical setting, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties. Responsible in representing the company in a positive manner while greeting visitors, answering telephones, and directing calls. Works in close coordination and cooperation with all areas of the facility relative to providing quality customer service on a consistent basis.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and direct them to appropriate office in a professional, positive manner
- Make initial and follow-up appointments for patients
- Answer telephones, retrieve messages, determine the nature of call and direct caller to appropriate person or department
- Register patients upon arrival
- Verify insurance, obtain appropriate referrals, and collect copays
- Reconcile billing sheets with patient roster
- Pull and Files Medical Records for daily schedule
Job Requirement
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalency
- Experience with Athena
- Good Communication skills, Verbal and Written
- Good Organizational skills
Salary
20 - 24 /hour
