About the Job
Selectek is looking for a Customer Service Field Technician to perform repairs to equipment at customer sites and manage any relationship with contracted support services.
Required:
Sponsorship: No
Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000 annual salary
Term of assignment: Direct Hire
Hours & Shift: Monday - Friday: 7AM 4PM with flexibility
Overtime: Some on occasion
Travel: Yes (up to 65% mostly domestic, possibility of some international)
WFH/Remote: No
Work Attire: Business casual

Required:
- Knowledge in electronic principles, low voltage systems, and LCD technology
- Be able to adapt to situations and find the right resolution to problems
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Manage multiple issues while rapidly responding to customers and effectively solving problems
- Be able to plan workload effectively
- Ability and willingness to fully document all steps of problem solving in the ticket
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Travel to on-site installation / repair, short notice travel may be necessary
- 3-5 years of experience in a Technical Support or related role
- Work unsupervised in a remote location.
- Basic TCP/IP, Ethernet, and standard communication protocols
- Office 365 SharePoint, email, and other office software
- Basic scripting languages (e.g., Python)
- Zendesk or similar ticketing systems
- ZOHO or similar quoting systems
- Provide on-site, email, and telephone troubleshooting support on all company's digital displays
- Proactively monitor customer displays using company's proprietary monitoring system
- Assess and respond to situations where standard procedures have failed in fixing problem equipment or software
- Communicate clear and concise written step-by-step instructions to customers
- Function in a fast-paced environment with weekend and evening work
- Learn highly technical products quickly and effectively
- Adhere strictly to established standard procedures
- Assist documentation team in writing knowledge base articles
- Responsible for providing timely customer requested price quotes
