Position Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and personable Customer Service Coordinator to represent Prairie City Bakery as the primary point of contact for Distributors, Stores, Consumers, Brokers, and Field Personnel. The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a proactive problem-solving mindset, and a customer-centric approach that will create a positive impression of our brand. This role will ensure customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and coordinating with internal teams to “Wow” our customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Review, validate and enter all customer orders received via EDI, Email, and customer portals.
· Coordinate with customers any needed order revisions based on order size, shipping schedule and/or pricing.
· Track the shipment and invoicing of orders, ensuring timely follow-up and proactive communication with customers and Sales as needed.
· Serve as the primary contact for all corporate phone and email inquiries, responding promptly to customer and retailer questions and concerns.
· Respond to all consumer complaints, log and track interactions, and follow through to resolution.
· Monitor inventory for order allocation, communicate back-in-stock timelines, and expedite orders as needed, working closely with the Sales team.
Assist the Director of Marketing with marketing materials, trade events, regulatory requirements and item setup
Requirements:
· High School diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
· Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills and a pleasant, professional demeanor.
· Experience in a customer service role with strong organizational and multitasking abilities, preferred
· High proficiency with technology and software, especially Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word, uploading and downloading from various web portals, and experience with QuickBooks is a definite plus.
· Strong problem-solving capabilities, advocating for our customers and going the extra mile to insure their satisfaction
