Position Summary	Successful candidatewill be self-motivated and able to take responsibility, as they will havelimited supervision. This individual will have strong communication andinterpersonal skills, enjoy working with the general public, and be able towork primarily in an outdoor setting. This individual will also need to be agreat team player and step up as needed. Since this individual works in a keypublic position, flexibility is a must. They will participate in alldepartmental events and will need to adjust their schedule to ensure coverage;the department will provide at least a 2 week notice before a permanentschedule change. Individual must be available to work weekends, evenings andholidays as needed. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to thefollowing: Provides support for event parking in the Cornell Parking Structure toinclude but not limited to: Point of contact, sales, and must be proficient incash management Effectively communicate information about the UNM campus, including itsparking rules, regulations, and locations to students, staff, faculty, andvisitors Provides visitors with parking validations Provide traffic control when necessary Provide conflict resolution to visitors, staff, and visitors when parking,traffic or other various issues or concerns are encountered while on campus. Assist with special event parking, traffic and crowd control activities See the Position Description for additional information.
Conditions of Employment	Employees who provide services or work in patient care or clinical areas are required to be in compliance with the University's influenza vaccination requirement. All regular, non-temporary positions assigned to this classification are represented by a labor union and subject to the terms and conditions of the CWA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Minimum Qualifications	High school diploma or GED; at least 6 months of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
