Job Duties & Responsibilities
Answer inbound calls in a fast paced, high volume Call Center. Positively interact with customers concerning accounts for processin new service, explain bills, take payments/meter readings, payment agreements, etc with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism focusing on first call resolution. Ability to multi-task by using web-based computer tools to analyze customer’s accounts, bills, payments and billing corrections relative to accounts and explain to customers often offering various solutions. Makes financial decisions to protect/collect revenues and adjusts customer accounts. Must work within prescribed telephone and customer satisfaction goals. Must accept feedback and change behavior from quality assessments. Instruct other similar or lower grade employees in the proper performance of the Customer Representative job duties and conduct workflow.

High School Diploma or GED
• Strong Customer Service Communication Skills
• Self-Starter with the ability to handle customer contacts in a pleasant and courteous manner.
• Proficient in typing and grammar
• Accurate data entry skills and ability to conduct simple math calculations
• Computer literacy/proficiency in a Windows Operation System
• Must pass computerized customer service entrance exam
• Must be available to work additional hours as needed especially during storm conditions.
