A Logistics organisation in Long Beach, CA are looking for an Import Customer Service Assistant to join their team.
Responsibilities;
- Providing customer service for the Import customers
- Responsible for handling all customer service queries
- Organising follow up phone calls
- Tracing cargo information
- Be the main point of contact for all customers
- Responsible for keying orders into the system
- Ensuring import cargo is delivered on time
- Dispatch delivery arrangement upon cargo/container arrival
- Prepare the shipping file for billing
- Prepare documentation for ocean carriers
- Assist with project cargo activities
- Process all orders
- Examine bills of lading documents
Skills Required;
- Import customer service experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- SAP experience is desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience processing orders
- Experience working within logistics
