We are looking for someone who can help dispatch services while focusing on ultimate scheduling efficiency. As our Customer Service Assistant / Dispatcher, you focus on maximizing time and mileage, you work hard to ensure that customer expectations are exceeded. You spend your workday in the office on the phone or computer thriving in a fast-paced office environment. Through phone calls, you inform clients of arrival times or any potential delays. You happily adjust for any rescheduling needs. Your demeanor is friendly and capable as you converse with clients and dispatch calls to technicians. REQUIREMENTS FOR A CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANT / DISPATCHER
- Completed high school diploma, GED, or equivalent - related experience and/or advanced training or any equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted
- At least 2 years of dispatch experience
- Prior experience in customer service, dispatching and/or a service line is desired
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual a plus
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, self-motivated to provide exceptional customer care while interacting with customers by phone, directing technicians by radio and tracking
- Teachable and open to constant coaching and feedback
- Can meet/exceed set goals
- Experience gathering data information and inputting the information in the computer
- Computer literate and must be able to use general office machines
- Knowledge of the geographical territory
- Familiarity with the plumbing trade would be a plus, but we will train the right person!
