Customer Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Customer Operations Specialist who will work closely with our Operations, Sales & Finance team to deliver a culture of excellent customer service.

Role is based at our headquarters in Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ with 3-4 days in the office
Role Responsibilities:
1. SALES ORDER WIZARD
Own Sales Order Process
- Review & confirm all orders for accuracy, minimum order quantities, and lead times.
- Utilize open order, inventory, and 3PL reports on a daily basis.
- Collaborate with customers and supply team to revise orders that need to be shorted and process expedited requests as needed.
- Assist with EDI setup of new customers & monitor EDI platform for errors.
Deliver Exceptional Customer Service
- Act as the main point of contact for customers and sales team orders
- Provide timely updates on shipment status, address inquiries, and resolve any issues that may arise with customers & internal team
- Provide great communication and follow up with our e-Commerce (Amazon) and inbound customer questions via email & phone
2. LOGISTICS SUPERHERO
Logistics Coordinator: Coordinate all sales order with multiple 3PL Warehouses, freight partners & internal team, ensuring On Time and In Full delivery
Organize Paperwork: Manage and organize transportation documentation, such as bills of lading, customs paperwork, and insurance requirements.
Build Strong Relationships - Foster strong relationships with vendors and carriers, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment.
3. SALES SUPPORT MAESTRO
Product Expert: you will become an expert on all 30 products that LOVE CORN sells
Sales Pipeline Tracking: sit in the weekly Sales meeting learning about new products, retailer launches & shipper campaigns
New Item Setup At Retailers - new item paperwork, ensure products are set up correctly in retailer portals, GS1, Brandbank, 1 WorldSync
Sales Analysis: provide daily & weekly reports on sales
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
- 2-4 years of Logistics and/or Customer Service experience ideally in Food & Beverage
- SPS EDI and Netsuite experience is a plus.
- Working with freight and warehouses is a plus
- Strong organizational skill set - loves checklists!
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to navigate challenges and find creative solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally to build relationships with customers, and writing concise, effective emails
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Self starter, can do attitude with a “go the extra mile” mindset
- Capacity to juggle a dozen balls at the same time - ability to multitask and prioritize workload
- Strong team player but also possess the ability to work independently
- Proficiency in Excel and G Suite is a must
